2024 Events
The 2024 Miracle on Chicken Street was a great success. We managed to overcome adversity and serve many patrons from Weston and other neighboring communities. The experience provided the wonder of a small town Texas Christmas. The First Christian Church created a live nativity that everyone enjoyed! Calvary Chapel participated with a miniature therapy horse and story time that was loved by all. Last but not least, the First Baptist Church of Weston participated with crafts for the kids and movie time. Women of Weston provided a bus shuttle to move patrons safely from one venue to the next, giving patrons a view of the small town decor provided by the WOW and many residents of the community.

Partnering with Community Lifeline Center
(Food Distribution)
The Women of Weston Texas with our local churches and community volunteers are pleased to welcome the Community Lifeline Center (CLC) Mobile Food Distribution Program to Weston Texas.
In a world turned upside down, CLC is a beacon of hope committed to distributing much needed food supplies to our struggling neighbors. They ensure these resources reach them at no cost.
We will be located at our churches in Weston with the support of many servant heart volunteers.

Distributions will be held on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10am to 12pm with the address posted in advance at womenofwestontexas.org or find us and Community Lifeline Center on Facebook and Instagram.

Garage Sales, Snow Cones, Donuts and Scavenger Hunt for kids

The Women of Weston are bringing back the community wide garage sale. Tradition states that is as always the first Saturday in June so we are keeping with that. If you are selling you can purchase as spot on the map which will be published and available to all shoppers. If you are a shopper, come to the community center on June 3rd to get your map for all participating homes!!

4th of July
The Women of Weston are participating again in the 38th annual Weston Independence Day Parade. Be sure to catch our women on parade floats, the bake sale and selling snow cones. All proceeds are given back to our community via hosting community events, donations to our Fire Department, and helping community members in needs. Be sure to not miss this parade, as it is a walk back in time to some good old fashion family fun!!!!
